POLIAMID66

SPECTRAMIDE PA66 (POLYAMIDE 66)

Polyamide 66 consists of polymer chains formed as a result of combining hexamethylene diamine and adipic acid in predetermined proportions at a certain temperature and pressure. The repetitive long chains in the molecular structure are crucial factors that determine the durability and other properties of the material.

It is a mechanically durable and strong material, with high strength. It is suitable for continuous use between -40°C and +120°C. It shows average thermal conductivity properties.
It has good chemical resistance to petroleum products, oils, acids and bases. It is also highly resistant to chemical abrasions.

Thanks to its high dielectric strength, it is suitable for electrical boarding applications. This is why it finds a wide range of applications in the Electrical & Electronics industry.
Thanks to its high wear resistance, it is used as a substitute for metal in applications such as bearings, gears and machine parts, or directly.

The base state has a medium density of 1.14 - 1.15 gr/cm3. Its melting point at 260-265°C allows for use in high-temperature work environments. In general, it also has a flame-resistant structure.
